Wallcon is currently hiring an IT/Help Desk Technician to work in a Managed Service Provider roll. This position will assist supporting several offices in and around the Phoenix area. This is a new position due to growth of the company. Successful candidates will be well organized, have excellent communication skills and detailed oriented. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the IT Manager, assist in the installation, maintenance, compatibility, integration and support of all computer hardware, software, printers, and networks within the company to meet the technology needs of the organization.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical and user documentation
  • Provide end user support to all employees
  • Train and assist end users on technology
  • Assists with tracking and maintaining hardware, software, and supplies inventories throughout the company
  • Account maintenance and deployment of company cell phones
  • Coordinate support with IT Manager
  • Provide assistance with escalation to vendors
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Skills

  • 2-4 years’ experience in the technology industry
  • Professional computer experience with installing and troubleshooting computer hardware and software including but not limited to: Mobile Devices, Copiers, Scanners, Printers and Multifunction Devices.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 support and administration
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • QuickBooks on premise support
  • Basic networking understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience/Certifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in an enterprise desktop support environment with software and hardware technical issues
  • Experience with LAN / WAN network configuration and troubleshooting
  • SonicWall Firewalls
  • Ubiquiti Access Points
  • QuickBooks for Enterprise in a shared environment
  • COMPTIA Certifications:  A+, Security+, Network+ not required but preferred
