Arizona continues to experience significant drought and impacts from reduced moisture in the Western United States. Based on the January 1 projected level of Lake Mead at 1,065 feet above sea level, the U.S. Secretary of the interiors has declared the first-ever Tier 1 shortage on the Colorado River for 2022.
