HBACA Announces Winners of the 37th Annual MAME Awards
The Home Builders Association of Central Arizona (HBACA) announced the winners of the 37th annual Major Achievements in Merchandising Excellence (MAME) awards. The MAME Awards ceremony, presented by V.I.P. Mortgage, was held on May 13 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge. More than 500 attendees, including some of the biggest names in the home building industry, were present to celebrate the best of the home building industry over the past year.
The MAME Awards recognize builders, developers, architects, interior designers, sales and marketing professionals, and construction leaders for their achievements, and this year, over 20 builders participated in more than 60 categories. Among the most highly anticipated awards of the night was the coveted Builder of the Year awards, which were divided into two categories: Production Builder over 250 Closings and Production Builder up to 250 Closings.
The winners of the Builder of the Year awards were:
- Production Builder over 250 Closings: Tri Pointe Homes Arizona
- Production Builder up to 250 Closings: Rosewood Homes
In addition, two of the most prestigious awards of the evening went to Master Planned Community of the Year and Community of the Year. The winners of these awards were:
- Master Planned Community of the Year: Sterling Grove – Toll Brothers
- Community of the Year: Rosewood Highlands at Storyrock – Rosewood Homes
Finally, Home of the Year, was awarded to:
- Home of the Year: Paradigm - 7502 – The Paradigm Plus Model - Camelot Homes
- Active Adult Home of the Year: Robson Ranch AZ - The Avalon - Robson Communities

The MAME Awards ceremony also served as a platform to celebrate the remarkable resilience of the home building industry in the face of unprecedented challenges. Despite supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, and other obstacles, the industry has continued to deliver high-quality homes and communities that meet the evolving needs of homebuyers.
