OSHA’s Regulatory Agenda for Fall 2021 Threatens Arizona’s State Plan Status

Arizona operates a fully approved State Occupational Safety and Health Plan through the Industrial Commission of Arizona (“ICA”) and the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (“ADOSH”). This means that all workplace safety and health regulations are adopted and enforced solely by ADOSH. The federal government through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) does not have any enforcement jurisdiction in Arizona. That, however, may change.
