Phoenix Adopts Modified Prevailing Wage Ordinance for City Projects
On the evening of Tuesday, March 21, the City of Phoenix posted a meeting notice and agenda for a special City Council meeting the following day to consider and adopt a prevailing wage ordinance for city projects. This ordinance is essentially a locally adopted version of the federal Davis Bacon Act. As originally proposed the scope of the proposal was unclear.
