Restarting the HBACA Professional Women in Building Council (PWB)
We are thrilled to announce that the HBACA's Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is back for HBACA members! The Phoenix homebuilding industry is fortunate to have many talented women, and we believe that the PWB will provide a valuable resource to connect, support, and empower women in the industry.
Our goal is to provide networking opportunities, mentoring, and professional development resources to women in the industry. We believe that by providing a space for women to connect and share experiences, we can help to elevate women's voices and contributions in the industry.
As a charter member*, $100 annual dues are paid to the HBACA, which includes $50 for the NAHB Professional Women in Building membership and $50 for the local dues. Dues are set on an anniversary basis to ensure members receive a full year of membership value for their money. Dues also include a subscription to the NAHB Professional Women in Building magazine.
Once we have our charter members established, we will petition the NAHB PWB for affiliation status. Upon approval, we will be ready to go.
We believe that PWB will be a valuable resource for women in the industry, and we hope that you will join us in supporting and promoting women's leadership in the homebuilding industry. We will be hosting our first PWB event on exclusively for PWB Members on Thursday, May 18, and we encourage you to attend and connect with other women in the industry.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. We look forward to your support in growing the HBACA's PWB Chapter.
* In order to join the Professional Woman in Building Council you must be an HBACA member, current on membership dues.
